Finding free solar panels is like searching for a needle in a hay stack. All of my research leads me to believe that you would be better off looking for used or cheap solar panels. Trying to run across free solar panels you will have to depend on someone else’s miss fortune.  You will need to check around commercial solar sites, and construction sites, and other places of a sort. Basically you will need to go on a solar cell hunt. You may also want to try looking some recycle places where people discard old and unwanted items. If you do have the time and determination you can get your solar panels for free.  You may also want to run an ad that you collect damaged or used and unwanted solar cells and panels. Another idea is to contact solar cell and solar panel manufactures and talk to someone there to let them know that instead of throwing them away that you will take their unwanted or damaged solar cells or panels.
