If you are a do it yourself type of person then you can build the perfect solar powered system for your home. Better yet if you like and you really get good at assembling solar panels the you can make lots of good money installing solar panels for people that are not quite the diy type. Solar energy and solar panels are being put into position to be the next hottest thing in the United States. In the last fifty or sixty years we as the human race have consumed more fossil fuels and petroleum than any generation before us. The pollution from our mistakes is quickly destroying our planet earth. We are currently in a position of not having another planet to go to so we really need to be taking care of what we currently have. Off shore drilling is a big money business but small mistakes like oil spills are killing off the wild life in our ocean and seas. Oil is the product in which we use in our machines to keep them from overheating and rusting out. Petroleum is it rarest form before it is harvested from the earth thru off shore drilling. Petroleum is the very substance that keeps the heat from the earth’s core from warming up the surface of the earth. Because fossil fuels like petroleum is being removed from the earth starting the function of global warming.  If we as people do not stop the removal of these precious commodities we will in fact doom ourselves to destruction. Finding other sources or energy will allow these fossil fuels to replenish themselves over time. Considering that it took millions of years in the first place for these types of fuels to form. Now having all that said let’s get back to do it yourself solar panels. There are many great programs that will teach you the ends and out of putting together and even making your own solar powered systems. I have found many over the internet and some from the diy TV show website as well. If you are looking to save yourself a lot of money you may consider installing your own system. The tools that you will need are really basic electric tools yes the kind that you would find in an electricians tool box. Putting together the parts are really simple and will not take a lot of time with proper instruction. You can go to your local hardware store and pick up everything that you will need to make your very own solar power system for two hundred dollars or less.
